The photograph is from a separate IRDG site visit to Takeda. This account concerns a question the company put to members through Members Question Time.

The challenge

  • Find people to support the development of a local site mission, vision and strategy.
  • Narrow a diverse field of strong providers to a short-list without a long procurement exercise.
  • Use the experience of other member companies rather than starting from scratch.

How IRDG was involved

  • The question was put to the IRDG membership through Members Question Time.
  • Members shared recommendations of people and providers they had used for similar work.
  • IRDG compiled the responses into a report for the Takeda team.

What the account reports

  • The report gave the team a number of suggestions, which also tied in with recommendations it had received elsewhere.
  • The team was able to sense-check and benchmark the suggestions before deciding how to proceed.
  • A first meeting to progress the project was arranged at the time of the account.

IRDG services used

The quality of responses is fantastic, and when you have so many other pressing challenges, the benefit of being able to save some time by tapping into the experience of others and save reinventing the wheel is really valuable.
